Interesting ... I watched the documentary about Jiro's just two nights ago. You wouldn't think that a 90 min documentary about sushi could be so engrossing. Apparently some of the customers travel from overseas to Japan just to eat a meal at Jiro's, it's so good. I look forward to reading about mdkim's experience there.
