Interesting observation?
Today our good friend Ivan sent me a new pair of WW balanced cables to connect my HT processor to my 1.2kw monoblocks. The system had been on for about four hours when I turned it off to swap cables. The amps were still cold - as they always are even when I drive the system hard all day on the weekend. I was replacing Furutech 'blue heavens'. When I disconnected these cables their connectors on the amp side were VERY HOT. The new cables have been in there for 3 hours and are cold.
