I had the same problem with my X-100L recently. The screen went solid green colour, so I was unable to see any characters on it, but the machine continued to function ok using its iPad app.
I ordered a replacement oled display from the UK agent and installed it myself, which was slightly tricky, but it's working ok again. The display cost £125 inc shipping.
