Here's the issue. Some of us are not happy about inserting additional A/D/A conversions in the signal path. I find it counter-intuitive that people with analog sources have to do this for room correction, e.g., MEN220 or various miniDSP products. OTOH, those of us who have only digital sources can apply room EQ without that encumbrance. There are several good options.
P.S.: The choice has nothing to do with the particular speakers.
