Oops...I mis-spoke/wrote! I meant if the signal were converted to DSD or PCM before the HDMI outs. I assume the DACs decode to analog, hence the 'A' in DAC! Maybe I'll chance the expenditure of a multi-channel cable and see for myself. The 95 is supposed to have superior DACs--probably better than the Sony receiver has.
