Curious, have you compared a 24Bit/96KHz FLAC file on the N10 to playback quality of 16Bit/44.1KHz FLAC file of the same song from Tidal? I know it's not an apple to apple fair comparison, but curious if your ears hear a difference.
Glenn.......I did this today with Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Tin Pan Alley" I have the album on vinyl, CD, and high-res download. This afternoon I compared Tidal's stream of that song to the HDTracks 24Bit/88.2KHz download. The high-resolution download squeaked out a small victory but it wasn't anything to write home about. I noticed slightly higher dynamics from several drum strikes and a few of Stevie's guitar riffs that gave the hi-res download the win. None the less, Tidal's streaming service through the N10 is impressive.
