Received my latest evil black-rifle last week. Rock River flat-top receiver with a 1-9" twist (limited to 69gr bullets) 20" long barrel & 2-stage trigger. Mounted a Bushnell AR/223 1-4×24 scope, which should be good enough for its intended purpose ("fun" compeition rather than "real" competition). In NJ, the flash-hider is a no-no, so replaced with a linear-forward going brake. Will make me and the folks on either side of me much happier with the blast & noise going forward. Will also help tame the massive recoil of the .223/5.56x45 cartridge.
