Glenn, I've been a Wheel Horse guy most of my life but two years ago I went the 'zero turn' route and I can tell you (as Dan will) there's no looking back. Cut my lawn care time from 1'35" down to less than an hour !
I have a Kubota, the important considerations in selection are…….fab steel deck and commercial grade hydro motors. FWIW, the #1 brand is eXmark followed by Skag I believe but everybody and their mother makes a zero turn these days.
One more thing, the single best $200 investment I made …………a mulching kit for the deck, it's kinda like vegetables…….why did it take so long in life to 'luv em all' !!
