I do not yet have an opinion, but am open to finding out. I've successfully used the Ultra Mini Stillpoints under two (2) CDPs and am wondering about switching them over to the E-270 once it is fully broken in. After I've done so, I'll post my impressions. Won't be a straight A/B test as it will take some time/effort to make the change.
As far as what they will do, my understanding is they are supposed to bleed away any resonances that might inhabit the chassis. If I had to guess, I would think they would do little in solid-state amps compared to tube amps. But, I'll let you know.
