What are you looking to change on your 52SE? I have a pair of those, and I can't think of any cost-effective upgrade for them. They are essentially the old Contours S1.3 Mk II (drivers and crossover) in an Audience cabinet: they have the Esotec class tweeters. The Esotar2 tweeters I got cost more than a pair of 52SE at retail.
Anyway, the Esotar2 tweeters I bought came from the Dynaudio Automotive line. You can find info about that at the Dynaudio website.
The cables clamp to the drivers. I did not have to do any soldering.
