Thanks guys. It is clear from the last several posts that my characterizations of the performance from each speaker model is under emphasized and should be thought of in a higher performance realm. I should also spend more time to investigate the principals behind planar type speakers as it will help to understand performance capabilities along with amplifier power, room and support needs. I'm certain my dealer will let me home demo the Maggie's but I don't believe I have a resource for demoing the ML's at home. I will investigate that idea further for sure. I must admit some of your comments have made my wallet jump up and down again because I know I won't be happy with too much compromise in quality of sound and overall performance.$$$$$ I will let you know what develops.
