Thank you again. It is using EL34 tubes. I am definitely using it in ultralinear mode (red). I am surprised because in searching the internet I found several people (including Tocatta from here) who switched from Pass amps to PL (though probably not from class A Pass amps). The PL sounds great, but the Pass adds more low end power in addition to beautiful midrange and beautiful highs. I am wondering if what I am not hearing is due to the amp itself or perhaps the PL needs more break in? Like I said, I just want to make the right decision here. At times I think that I am crazy for even considering a PL over a Pass, am I?
