hmm, does Wireworld offer different IEC options? Like Wattgate, Furutech, etc. If so it might be worth while trying another connector.

I just experienced the Furutech FI-50(R) for the 1st time this week. I have it on my Siltech Ruby Hill II. The sheer weight of the power cord itself is causing downward pull but the IEC holds up to it remarkably well with just an ever so slight droop. This is on my MC-12. I'll know if it's similar behaviour (i.e. well balanced and not much droop) as I move it to other components. This will tell if different IEC inlets react the same or different, if drooping seems to come more from the IEC connector of the cable or the IEC inlet of the equipment.
