Volt: Mike Bossy was a great guy and a great player. Even though he was an Islander, I couldn't get mad at him since he was such a gentleman. I was always scared to death when he had the puck. I also have to make an admission. I actually did root for the Islanders, specifically Clark Gillies, when they played the Broad Street Bullies (Flyers). I disliked everything about the Flyers immensely back then, feeling they were a black eye and an embarassment to Hockey. When Gillies pummeled Dave Schultz, it was a gratifying moment.
