Back in the day I purchased a pair of Bose 901 series II because I just could not reach the funds needed for Dahlquist DQ10's. The Dahlquists sounded so much better, but the cheap pizo tweeter turned me off, and the 901's served me well for several years, replaced by Janszen Z824 hybrid electrostatics. They did with the right power present a reflective sound stage that brought me to Magnapan's eventually.
