I've heard the G1s and always wanted to try them in my home, but I suspect they would have overpowered my room, which the G2 seems to suit perfectly.
How big is your room? IMHO that's the biggest concern when deciding between the G1 and G2 (well not the biggest, that's usually financial, but still… ;-))
