Formerly YB-2,

Very early in my wine adventures (circa 1992/1993), I remember seeing side by side in a well stocked retail store in Orange County, a 77 Ch. Latour and a 90 Ch. Latour. The former was $70 and the latter was $90. After pacing around the store and muttering to myself for 15-30 minutes, my limited budget "won out" and I bought, cellared and eventually drank the '77.

Like the ghostly knight in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" said, "I chose poorly". [emoji849]

Of course back in 92/93, my HiFi setup was my post-college system consisting of a Technics SL-Q2 TT with an Audio Technica moving magnet cartridge, and Onkyo 1500 mkii receiver, Monster cables, an Akai tape deck, and a pair of Bose 301's. Life was simpler then...

Happy Listening,
