I can't speak for HRS but in the case of SRA (Silent Running Audio) this is a tough choice. In the end, a platform performs additional functions versus a footer so it somewhat depends on what you're trying to accomplish. If your primary concern is cost then individual footers will usually be less money, particularly if they're lower cost footers such as the SP Mini. If your primary concern is isolation effectiveness and sonic impact I believe the better platforms (SRA, HRS) have the edge. That's also proportionate to the Stillpoints model you're thinking about.
Stillpoints can be very effective. SRA platforms are computer modeled for the specific device they will support and are easily modifiable if used for a different piece of gear.
