I just wanted to let you know that the Hi-Rez downloads on
Masters From Their Day | Home were not upsampled. They were originally recorded and mixed at those sample-rates, and when they were mastered, the mastering engineer kept it at that sample-rate. The 44/16 version (also available as a free download) was made by down-sampling the hi-rez version.
In fact, the
first recording has all the individual instrument tracks available from the original recording session. You can hear each instrument, unprocessed, at 88/24.
