Because they don't specify an SPL to go along with it, making those numbers mostly meaningless.

As frequency halves, displacement quadruples to make the same SPL.

Without knowing linear displacement (Xmax) or volume displacement (Vd) you don't know how low and loud these will go.

I'm hoping B&W will publish that info.

They look pretty decent actually. The 12" compares favorably with the JL Audio F112v2.

The 5 band eq will help integrate the sub into the room.

It has presets - I'm not sure why you'd need them. One sign of a correctly setup sub is you never have to touch it. Ever. But if you like to tweak they give you that opportunity.

Bravo B&W for entering the true high end sub market.

Now give us some meaningful specs!
