I also did the power thing .. but more cos of surges, brownouts and rolling blackouts
I use a 5kva pure sine wave inverter to power the room , fed off banks of batteries which are solar charged..
My room is always evolving .. busy with 20" diameter 8ft tube traps .. Im replacing all my flat traps with them .. I need 12 .. a massive DIY project .. apart from low bass trapping , 1/2 the diameter of the traps is diffusion and the other 1/2 absorption so you can tune the room by rotating them.
