Forty-years ago, who "knew" connecting cables (IC's) had such a profound impact upon SQ?
Or, twenty years ago, that the simple AC power cable powering your hi-fi could have such an astonishing inpact on SQ (for better/worse) ! lol.
OR more recently, that a Music Server 'sending files
TO THE DAC' could be/is more/just as important than the DAC quality itself ?
Here's the beauty of this logic; one does NOT needto spend any money whatsoever to do listening comparisons. Simply find, install, and listen to your music/hi-fi with the various cables lying around -or borrowed/salvaged.
Do you hear anything ? Keep searching/experimenting. You WILL find one (generic) that wuill clearly make your music/hi-fi sound better ! Here's your answer.
