Thanks guys for the warm welcome here!

The Jazzman MkIII ESLs are the soul of my system, and my pride and joy.

I designed and built ESLs for fifteen years and they still amaze me. I once even built a pair using welding rods for the stators, and configured them with switch-selectable wide & narrow dispersion modes-- it worked great but wasn't practical.

I no longer build ESLs but I still enjoy helping others build them, through my DIY ESL website.

In my experience it's far easier to build a superb sounding ESL than a superb sounding conventional speaker. Not that it's less work (it isn't), but success is more certain because physics favors that outcome.
