Agreed Mike, they are terrific speakers and so transparent. I just added the Pass XP-30 preamp last week and the Salon 2's bring out every nuance. I was told that the XP-30 would greatly improve the bass response of the XA-100.5 and the Salon 2's really deliver the goods. What I like best about these speakers is that they really don't have any weak points. And they have the some of the smoothest treble I've ever heard.
How is it going with the Alexia and the D'Ag amplifier? I would think they're breaking in nicely by now.
