I started with Macmini, Wireworld platinum USB cable, Berkeley Audio Designs Alpha USB converter, and Transparent Ref XL digital XLR cable before completely abandoning that setup for Aurender X100L (6TB) .... The WW cable stayed and I sold off the rest. Hell, the transparent cable alone cost more than the Aurender server. The X100 is the best price to performance product I know of. No regrets a year later. The Aurender app is perfect IMO. Excellent sound quality and fit n finish. Flawless operation. Color me happy.
