Pass is for me the best SS power ampli.
I had listen the Dagostino and oder Brands (Burmester & Soulution) but Pass is the more natural and have a "Plus" vs the others.
.8 vs .5: well is not easy decide is the first is better form the second -> I say .8 is not better but different and is a personal taste. The .5 sound very very good but you cant say that .8 is not a great ampli!!
if I think at the xs150 and xs300 i can only immagine what they can do! a combo whit the Xs preampli is sure amazing.
cma29 a refurbished Pass Xa160.5 can be available and sure give a lot of satisfaction for a lot of years.
if you have the possibilty to give your Xa100.5 as payment for a pair of 160.5 you can do a great bargain!
