I would consider placing the rear of the speakers facing the wall with the fireplace and firing back to the longer distance in the room (22ft.). The room is 22ft. L X 15ft. W. If this poses any acoustic issues, I will remove this house from the short list. Otherwise, its a contender as this home has been remodeled down to the studs.

I agree with everyone else; I don't think the ceilings is going to be an issue. I'm wearier of odd shaped sidewalls that cause reflections. Based on the picture, you shouldn't have any issues, just get lots of soft furniture
