The current line up of ARC amps provides a tremendous amount of low end grunt for a tube amp. I compared the Ref 150 with the D'Agostino Momentum stereo amp in my system and found that the loss in bass impact was very slight on some tracks and not noticeable at all on others. Although I loved the Dags and think they are the best ss amps I've heard, I still preferred the ARC Ref 150 which had more color, texture, bloom, dimensionality at a cost of a mild loss of transparency.
