It is up and running with an Ortofon 2M Black. The first thing I noticed was lack of distortion or congestion on complex passages on songs from some of my favorite albums. Also the sound is very accurate it does not over emphasize the music in any way. If the album is well produced and dynamic you will hear it. If the album is not well produced or compressed you will hear it however the album is still very listenable.
Today I finally pulled out my MOFI copy of Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon and I just could not believe how well it sounded. I have had this record since 1979 and it sounded new with the incredible job MOFI did with 1/2 speed mastering. It sounded better to me than the Blu-Ray version I have. I am very happy with the Classic.
