Info. for anyone interested in the Audeze LCD-3.
It seems like the older batches of Audeze LCD-3 Freq. charts drop off at .8k versus a 1.5k drop off. Which should be a loss of upper energy 3db or more. A Freq. sheet is provided with each purchase. Many consider the older builds to be veiled. (Of course you turn your head and the Freq. will change, but the correlation seems to be there.)
Plus, they use a few different materials in the new builds. All the nice variation of wood color, are luck, not a request. The newer Fr. charts start at 20 versus 10.

From Woo Headphone amps: (My choice of amp.)
The WA-22 will provide better imaging and stereo sound, however the power output is not as strong as the WA6-SE. If you like to listen to your music really loud, the WA-22 is not for you. If you want an amp with great sound and more than enough power to drive the headphones go with the WA6-SE. This is actually the amp they use for "reference" in their test area. Upgraded rectifier and tubes are highly recommended!
All good information to follow up on, if interested in these cans.
