I think the cost of KT150s is nominal compared to the cost of the equipment and certainly justified if they optimize performance of that equipment regardless of what brand it is. And the cost becomes even less of an issue for those who need to replace worn out tubes anyway.
I have not tried KT150s so I am not commenting on their actual performance. Just commenting on my observations (and actual experience) of what users spend for other items (power cords, footers, etc) trying to optimize equipment. The 150s sound like a bargain.
