I use the same exact method for my MVP871, except the third method setup for external surround on my BluRay. That's a great solution if I only had an extra input. I may need to get rid of that darn VCR player or connect it straight to the TV to free up that input. Or let the MX119 switch the VCR video and run the audio straight to TV and use the same input for the BluRay(setting default surround to external). Thanks for turning on that light bulb  |
Are you using all of the inputs now? What about the "Tape" input? I think it can also be programmed like the other inputs.
