I have the LG PF1000U that I use with an apple TV.
I've put it in the bedroom where we don't want to have a TV there. From a design point of view, it's very unobtrusive and it can be easily moved or hidden if we need to.
We project on a white wall so the quality is quite average but sufficient for our needs and we can watch it in daylight without much issues. Obviously, you can't compare the quality to a new TV or a properly setup projector on a high quality screen. For my wife it's enough and she never complained about the quality. She enjoys the large image size though.
Regarding the screens, I've been looking for an equally unobtrusive solution but I couldn't find one that suits a UST projector. Most of the screens are not suitable for UST so be careful when shopping for one (mainly due to the angle of the image to the screen). Ideally I'd love a floorstanding solution with proper tension.
