Speakers maybe after the level of rack (closer to the listening couch). This is the only option that I can imagine.

FWIW - I just made this move in my room and love the results. It took a long Power cord to extend my dedicated line to the new rack position and then two pairs of long Interconnects to get back to the amplifiers which I kept between the speakers. It has made a noticable improvement the staging and overall presentation in my room.
However, I have a dedicated room which makes it easy to move what I want, where I want it.
