I own a pair of 802 Diamonds and personally have never heard the Revel's but I would guess with the Salon2's costing similar to the 800 Diamonds that they would perform better than the 802Ds, just a guess. I'm thinking a more even comparison would be the Studio2's and the 802D/802 Diamonds.
