“Let there be light” ...

My first impression is surprise. I thought my right speaker was not working but that was only because the sound was perfectly centered. After a few seconds of listening, the most noticeable change was the purity of the sound. The floor noise has been reduced to nothing and all I could hear was “blackness”.

Listening to Love for Sale by Chet Baker was impressive. The separation between the instruments was perfect and you could clearly hear each player. Moving onto Dogs by Pink Floyd only confirmed what I heard on Love for Sale but on a more complex track.

Another track that I use for testing is Adele Rolling in the Deep, the bass are so poorly recorded with dynamic range that it’s a mess. It’s now the cleanest I’ve ever experience on my system.

The odd result is that I find myself increasing the volume past what I would usually due only because the sound is cleaner and you can actually up the volume.
