Just back from an audition of the 705S2, and was very impressed. The bass extension and definition was outstanding for a 2-way stand-mount, but it's in the mids and treble where this speaker really shines. I haven't heard any other similarly sized and priced 2-way that comes close to this level of reproduction, and in certain aspects it gets scary close to any speaker at any price.
I can also report that the speaker is soon to be reviewed by Soundstage Australia.
