It's really too early to tell about sound. It has been all of 6 hours burn-in. It is clear, though, that this is an improvement over the CX-7. Much better detail and air.
I need a magic "burn-in" wand.

Is it a CX-7e-MP ? it's one of my favourite CD players, if the QX-5 improves on it, that's a good sign
