I agree. Apertures made the most significant improvements to my humble listening room after speakers and turntable. I've had these going on four years now and that claim still holds true.


An old picture gearwise, but the Apertures are still there. I no longer use them in the corner behind the speakers - that was an experiment. Also have three on the back wall, which helps pull the soundstage a bit more out into the room.

These are the real deal, designed by a master acoustic engineer who works in the corporate sector along with a stint at NASA. Their size and good looks - high WAF, easily the best looking I've seen - make it easy to experiment with placement and fine tuning. Five of them - one behind each speaker, one in the middle of the front wall and one at each first reflection point (side walls) - are a great way to start. Imo, there is no $3500 improvement you can make to your system that will give you a greater bang for the buck than Apertures.
