The pictures show that the wires will not be inside a conduit. One way to future proof the install is to have the HDMI cable run inside a conduit. That way you can buy a cheaper cable today that can be easily replaced in the future as technology changes.
(Imagine being the guy who paid $4k for a cable that in 1.5 years is bested by a cable that costs $300).

+1, pvc is a good solution for this, easier to pull and replace wires through it than typical electrical flex conduit (metal)....
Ivan and others may have an even better idea...
