All I have to say is the Special 40 is truly something special. I'd never owned or listened to Dynaudio before, but from online reviews I had to take a listen. I've just had my first kid and have been loosing time with the main living room system. Apparently, the wife and baby girl like music too. Got a pair in the grey for the bedroom system, driving them with a Rotal RA-1592 just magic.
Listened at the dealer vs a set of B&W 700 bookshelf and was not impressed. My wife was pregnant at the time and as soon as the Dynaudio were put on the baby started dancing and kicking. So even still in the womb she knew they were special!
