Yes, Dan, I'll be interested in hearing how an essentially direct feed sounds. The problem now (for my wallet, that is) is that, having explained it to my wife, she's indicated interest in having a similar setup for her home office--which means another 74 or 77 plus amp (fortunately, I have enough speakers around to cover the rest).
