I'll be very interested in your impressions of the PS Audio P5, because back in 2011 or thereabouts, I borrowed one of the very large and heavy Purepower AC regenerators (1500 or 2000, I can't remember), and it was notably outperformed by my entry-level 2010-era Shunyata Hydra 4 for sound quality.
