You should buy art that moves you and you find pleasing.
There is no point in buying something you don't like just in the hope that it will gain in value. Art has the value you are willing to put on it.
I can see many people finding this piece attractive but it does nothing to me. So even if it will gain in value, I wouldn't get it for myself
