I'll go against the grain.
I had a home theater in the basement, in a room a little bigger than yours, and open to a hall.
I struggled with low bass, and my speakers sounded a bit bright.
I've heard O3 sound awesome in several listening rooms before.

To recapture as much bass as possible I upgraded cables and jumpers, professional speaker placement, and bass traps. Sound absorption and diffusion panels to reduce the overly bright sound reflections bouncing off the wall. I still needed subwoofers, but the end result was amazing.

I do like them otherwise. I even bought another pair for my office.
