This is not true. Magico's tweeter is is different than the off-the-shelves one used by Rockports (and others). Both the surround and the voice coil are custom parts that Magico designed and manufactured, resulting in much greater X-MAX (3 times the regular) and lower THD.
All drivers used by Magico are actually custom designs... this is why they sound better.... and cost more to produce!
