Randy, when on the range I triple plug, Foam first, then seal with wax earplugs and cover with Howard Leight non electronic - high NRR ( 32 ) muffs. In the field I use pro ears gold and in some circumstances will also add wax or foam. ( ie duck blind with shooters on each side. ) At concerts, sporting events etc the Etymotic Research system is great. I have two pairs of custom shooting glasses, one for range and one for field. They each have a thin headband strap that securely holds the glasses in place and allows the muffs to maintain a tight seal to the head.
