Thanks Miner! For those in the Houston (Woodlands) area and have not been, or just visiting, I can't recommend the Dosey Doe enough. Its an old tobacco barn that has been reconstructed into a dining/club/venue that has fabulous acoustics and due to its small size assures everyone a great view and an intimate experience. This was my third time there (having seen Kinky Friedman, Solas and now The BoDeans) and I've never been more than 10 feet from the performers. They get a broad range of acts from folk, country, jazz, pop and rock and you get a nice dinner as part of the package. Given its size, I'm not really sure how they attract all the acts they do - I've got to believe that the musicians just love playing there. Check it out.
