I would love to try the 901 but my V1 Focal Scalas are not biwirable. I have heard to 1.25 and it sounds great but I prefer the tonal balance of my 275’s or 2301’s. No doubt there is deeper tighter bass with the SS design. The hybrid tube/SS output of the 901 seems perfect.
Another thing to consider is while you can run the KW1.25 with only one speaker cable run, the MC901 requires two dedicated lines per channel. If you like your cables exotic the cost of a second run is not inconsequential. Whether one $5,000 run is better then two $2,500 runs is a whole different kettle of fish.
