Just busy with work, up to about 125 people on the payroll now.....
At this rate, retirement may come sooner than later.
Took me a year to finish this pre-amp due to all the other hobbies, work, etc.
Got a much bigger boat so doing some serious fishing and diving. Also going to the mountains a lot to mountain bike.
I can tell you that manufacturers earn every penny. The amount of time that goes into R&D is insane. Another reason why many outsource to china but if you want a badass handmade amp/preamp, this is the way to go. I have owned many pieces of equipment over the years as you know and I may be a little biased but this setup smokes everything prior to this DIY system. I attribute most of it to the hand picked parts used and the custom OPT transformers using exotic materials.
Will have more time when retirement comes
